Position Summary

The Production Coordinator serves as a key member of the dsm Production Team, acting as the central liaison between sales representatives, clients, designers, and internal teams. This role oversees creation and execution of advertising, event, and production deliverables from signed contract through final fulfillment across print, digital, social, and experiential platforms.

Designed as a scalable operational role, the position can expand to support multiple sales representatives, new products, and evolving media platforms as the organization grows.

This role offers a significant opportunity for growth. Responsibilities may evolve based on the employee’s strengths and experience, including expanded involvement in design production, social media execution and video editing.

Key Responsibilities

The position is structured around three primary areas of responsibility:

1. Support Sales & Advertising Production

The Production Coordinator manages the workflow and execution of advertising programs to ensure seamless pull-through from sale to publication. This function ensures every contracted advertising program is executed accurately, efficiently, and professionally.

2. Support Event Production

The Production Coordinator assists with execution of sponsored events and experiential programs connected to dsm media brands. This role helps maintain consistency between event experiences and the overall brand promise delivered to partners and attendees.

3. Support Design & Production Operations

Working closely with the design and production teams, the Production Coordinator helps create necessary assets and maintain efficient workflows across publications and platforms.

Required Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or related fields.

  • Organized with strong attention to detail and deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and team members

  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. 

  • Experience with project management or CRM systems 

    • (Magazine Manager, Asana, or similar)

  • Experience with social media management and design

  • Bonus - Basic video editing skills
